Ann was the older of two children, born to Winnie and Charles Woledge in Kingsbury, London NW9.  Her involvement with Brownies and Guides started there when she enrolled in the Brownies with her best friend Mary.  They remained the closest of friends with their respective husbands for the rest of Ann's life.

Ann met her future husband Bryan at school and they were together from the age of 15 years old until Ann died on 11th June , apart from Bryan's spell of National Service before they were married.

Ann and Bryan married on 30th October 1954, and were looking forward to celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary next year.

They had three children: Carole was born in 1955, Amanda in 1959 and Fiona in 1964.  She was also a very proud grandmother of Daniel and James, and loved being great grandma of Oscar who will be four in July and is looking forward to a new brother or sister in October.

All Ann's daughters were part of the guiding movement under Ann's leadership and encouragement.  Ann was a Brown Owl or Guide Captain to all of them at different times.  The family commitment to guiding is now being seen through by James' fiancĂ©e Rhiannon, who is a Tawny Owl. This was something that gave Ann great pleasure.

Bryan and his family were deeply shocked by Ann's unexpected death and thank you for your generous support on a personal level and to a cause so close to Ann's heart.
